The Punjab Educational Development Board established Adarsh Schools in the state of Punjab under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. 24 Adarsh Schools are being run in the state.
Govt. B.I.S Adarsh Secondary School is the one of them affiliated to C.B.S.E New delhi. This School is also running under PPP Mode with the Punjab Govt. Adarsh Schools Scheme.
The school is situated in Village at Daulatpura Niwan Distt. Moga (Pb). The school is serving approx. 1270 students from 25 villages and providing free & quality education to the under privileged children. Majority of the families of the students enroll in the school are marginal farmers, daily wage laborers and pretty traders, and are the first generation learners.
The School focuses on the all-round development of children by providing them with both academic and vocational education.
